Storm Damage Restoration in Flint, MI

Storm damage: get it closed up before the next band of rain.

We run storm damage jobs in Flint regularly, and most of them start the same way: someone finds water, smoke or mold hours after the damage began. What happens in the first day decides how much of the house has to come apart. Our crews work out of Commerce Township, so getting to Flint is a short drive, not a dispatch decision made in another state.

Our crews leave from Commerce Township, about 33 miles from Flint.

Why this happens in Flint

Flint sits in the same freeze-thaw cycle as the rest of southeast Michigan. Pipes in exterior walls and unheated crawl spaces fail in January, saturated ground overwhelms sump pumps in spring, and storms take shingles off in summer.

Our process

What a storm damage job looks like from start to finish.

  1. Step 1

    Emergency stabilization

Roof tarping, board-up and debris removal to stop further damage.

  2. Step 2

    Water removal and drying

Anything that got in comes out, and the structure gets dried.

  3. Step 3

    Damage documentation

Photos, measurements and scope for your insurance claim.

  4. Step 4

    Repair and rebuild

    Roof, siding, windows, interior finishes.

Questions from Flint property owners

Should I tarp it myself?

Stay off a wet or damaged roof. Call us and we will do it safely.

Will you wait for my adjuster?

Emergency stabilization should not wait. We document everything so it is covered.

Can you handle the roof repair too?

Yes, from the temporary tarp through the permanent repair.

How quickly can you get to Flint?

We dispatch to Flint around the clock. Call and we will give you a straight answer on when a crew can be at the door instead of a promise we cannot keep.

Do you work with Flint permits and inspections?

Yes. Where the repair scope requires a permit, we pull it with the local building department and schedule the inspections as part of the job.

Need help in Flint right now?

Call and you get the company that does the work, not a call center routing your job to whoever bid the most.
