Flooded Basement Cleanup in Metro Detroit
Basement under water? Do not walk in until the power is off.
Basements collect everything: groundwater, sump failures, sewer backups and broken supply lines. The water is often dirty, and the finished walls and carpet act like a sponge. We pump it out, remove what cannot be saved, disinfect the slab and walls, and dry the space so mold never gets started.

Our process
The same sequence on every job, scaled to the size of the loss.
- Step 1
Safety and power check
We confirm the electrical is safe before anyone steps into standing water.
- Step 2
Pump and extract
Submersible pumps move the volume, extractors pull the rest out of carpet and pad.
- Step 3
Remove and disinfect
Saturated carpet pad, base trim and wet drywall come out, then everything gets cleaned and treated.
- Step 4
Dry and verify
We dry the slab and framing and confirm with meter readings before we close the job.
What usually causes it

- Heavy rain and saturated ground

Questions we get about flooded basement
Can the carpet be saved?
Sometimes. Clean water caught early can often be dried in place. Sewage or long-standing water means the pad goes and usually the carpet too.
Should I turn off the power myself?
Only if the panel is dry and you can reach it safely. Otherwise call the utility or an electrician.
Will it smell afterward?
Not if it is dried properly. Odor is a sign something wet was left behind.
Do you handle the rebuild?
Yes. We can put the basement back together once it is dry.
Damage does not wait. Neither do we.
Call and you get the company that does the work, not a call center routing your job to whoever bid the most.
