Fire Damage Restoration in Metro Detroit

After the fire department leaves, call us.

Fire damage is rarely just fire. There is smoke through the whole house, soot on every surface and thousands of gallons of water from suppression. We secure the building first, then work through cleaning, odor removal and rebuilding, and we stay on the file with your adjuster from start to finish.

Our process

The same sequence on every job, scaled to the size of the loss.

  1. Step 1

    Secure the building

Board-up, roof tarping and fencing so the property is safe and weather-tight.

  2. Step 2

    Water and debris removal

Suppression water comes out and unsalvageable debris is removed.

  3. Step 3

    Soot and odor removal

Surface-by-surface cleaning, HEPA filtration, sealing and deodorizing.

  4. Step 4

    Reconstruction

Framing, drywall, finishes: we rebuild the damaged areas.

What usually causes it

  • Kitchen and cooking fires
  • Electrical faults and overloaded circuits
  • Furnace, water heater and chimney issues
  • Candles, smoking and space heaters
  • Dryer lint buildup

Questions we get about fire damage

When can I go back inside?

Only after the fire department and, where needed, a structural check say it is safe. We can meet you there.

Can smoke smell really be removed?

Yes, when it is done properly: source removal, cleaning, sealing and treatment. Covering it up does not last.

What about my belongings?

Salvageable contents can be inventoried, packed out and cleaned off-site while the structure is repaired.

Do you work with my insurance?

Yes. We document the scope and photos and communicate with the adjuster throughout.

Damage does not wait. Neither do we.

Call and you get the company that does the work, not a call center routing your job to whoever bid the most.
