Which of these is happening right now?

Pick the closest match. Each one has its own process, equipment and insurance path.

Water Damage Restoration

Water spreads fast. It moves through drywall, under flooring and into wall cavities where you cannot see it. We extract the standing water, find the wet materials with moisture meters, then dry the structure with air movers and dehumidifiers until the readings come back to normal. We document everything as we go so your insurance file is clean.

Sewage Backup Cleanup

Sewage carries bacteria and viruses, so this is not a mop-and-bucket job. Porous materials that got wet have to go. We remove the contamination in containment, clean and disinfect every hard surface, dry the structure and confirm the space is safe before anyone uses it again.

Fire Damage Restoration

Fire damage is rarely just fire. There is smoke through the whole house, soot on every surface and thousands of gallons of water from suppression. We secure the building first, then work through cleaning, odor removal and rebuilding, and we stay on the file with your adjuster from start to finish.

Mold Remediation

Mold grows where something stayed wet. Killing the visible growth without fixing the water source just buys a few weeks. We contain the area, remove affected materials under negative air pressure, clean and treat what stays, then correct the moisture that caused it.

Flooded Basement Cleanup

Basements collect everything: groundwater, sump failures, sewer backups and broken supply lines. The water is often dirty, and the finished walls and carpet act like a sponge. We pump it out, remove what cannot be saved, disinfect the slab and walls, and dry the space so mold never gets started.

Burst Pipe Repair & Cleanup

A pipe that lets go under pressure pushes water into ceilings, wall cavities and insulation before anyone notices. Shutting the main off is step one. After that the job is finding every wet cavity and drying it properly, because the damage you cannot see is what turns into mold and stained ceilings later.

Smoke & Soot Cleanup

A small fire can leave soot in rooms that never saw flame. Smoke residue is acidic and it etches metal, discolors paint and settles into HVAC. We identify the residue type, clean it with the right method for each surface, treat the ductwork and remove the odor at the source.

Storm Damage Restoration

Michigan storms bring wind, hail, fallen limbs and power loss all at once. The first priority is stopping more water from getting in. We tarp, board and dry, then handle the repairs and keep the photo and scope documentation your adjuster will ask for.

Why local owners matter

A lot of restoration calls in this market get answered hundreds of miles away and sold to whichever contractor is available. You find out who is actually coming when a truck pulls up.

That is not how we work. Restora Michigan is owned by the people running the jobs. The person you speak with at 2am knows your address, your adjuster and what equipment is in your basement.

We live here. Our crews know which neighborhoods have clay tile laterals, which subdivisions flood in a hard rain, and which municipalities want a permit before the rebuild starts.

Insurance claim help

Most losses we handle are insurance claims. We document moisture readings, photograph every affected room before anything is removed, and write a scope your adjuster can actually match line for line.

  • · Daily drying logs and photo documentation
  • · Scope written in standard estimating software
  • · Direct communication with your adjuster
  • · We can bill your insurer directly

Common questions

Are you available at night and on weekends?

Yes. Water and fire losses do not keep business hours, so neither do we. Call any time and you will reach us.

Are you a franchise?

No. Restora Michigan is locally owned. The people who answer the phone are the people responsible for the job.

Do you work with insurance?

We document moisture readings, photos and scope from the first visit so your adjuster has what they need, and we speak with them directly.

How far do you travel?

We are based in Commerce Township and cover everything within 50 miles of our shop, across Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, Monroe, Genesee, Lapeer and St. Clair counties.

What should I do before you arrive?

Stay safe first. Shut the water off if you can reach the valve, keep people and pets out of standing water, and do not use electrical outlets in an affected area.

Damage does not wait. Neither do we.

Call and you get the company that does the work, not a call center routing your job to whoever bid the most.
